5 of 5 starsInformative Book on Hormonal Balance, November 20, 2000
Reviewer: A reader from Atlanta, GA

This book is the best one I have read on hormonal balance in women. It explained how the hormonal system works in women in a way the nonmedical person could understand. It explained how different hormones work in relation to each other and how imbalances occur. Also interesting was the chapter on saliva testing and why this works to allow women to know exactly which hormones they need. Then typical case studies of various hormonal problems showed results of before and after treatment. Instead on one size fits all standard hormonal treatment, women now have a more individualized treatment program which may be more effective and with fewer side effects. Also the book explains how lifestyle factors and environmental factors are part of the hormonal picture. I highly recommend this book for any woman who wants to be more knowledgable about what is happening to them at the hormonal level--it is truly educational and easy to understand as well.

Just wanted to say that i thought your book was wonderful. Very clear and
easy to understand. I have recommended it to two people who contacted me
through my site.

Dear Dr. Taylor,

I recently attended your seminar, Are Your Hormones Making You Sick? and purchased your book by the same title. For the first time I feel I have a real understanding of the female hormonal cycle and how the cycle changes from puberty through the reproduction years, perimenopause and menopause. I have read other books on the subject, but your analogies make it more understandable. I applaud your inclusion of the importance of diet and lifestyle changes to bring balance to the whole person. Thank you for sharing this information. I'm sure that many women and their families bless you!

Sincerely,
Grace Roberts

Drs. Eldred & Ava Taylor,

Yes, I have had a chance to read Are Your Hormones Making You Sick? and
feel the book offers readers a clear understanding of hormonal imbalances and
the serious problems that can develop from them.

The book is very well written and presented. I think there are several
different topics and lectures you could create from it that would greatly
benefit both men and women! It is unfortunate that today many women do not
understand their own bodies due to a lack of knowledge by their physician and
general misconceptions presented and formed through the years. I also find it
very beneficial that you explain how and why hormonal imbalances occur and
offer lifestyle changes, medicines, and spiritual solutions.
I
Sincerely,

Melissa Banks
